A man has died at the Omni Hotel in Dallas after accidentally shooting himself while cleaning his gun.
According to a police statement, the incident took place on Saturday with officers responding to a call at approximately 11:35 p.m. to the hotel at 555 S. Lamar St. in downtown.
The victim was found having died of a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
His name has not been released. An investigation is ongoing.
