
A Dalworthington Gardens man who was wanted for making threats against his family was fatally shot by police after a chase early Friday morning.
The man's name was not immediately released, but Dalworthington Gardens police said he was spotted by a patrol officer who tried to pull him over for a warrant. The man was wanted for making death threats against family members and police.
Police said the man took off and led officers on a chase that went though Pantego and into Ellis County. In Midlothian, the man rammed two squad cars before he got into a gunfight with officers.
He was shot and killed. Dalworthington Gardens police did not answer questions about the incident.
