A man was found dead in Dallas Sunday and police believe it is Sabino Hernandez, an elderly man who went missing in Irving Friday night.
Irving police said Hernandez was 69-years-old and had been diagnosed with dementia. A state-wide Silver Alert was activated and the search continued through the weekend.
But yesterday, Irving police reported a body was discovered near the Trinity River between Loop 12 and Westmoreland in west Dallas.
The Medical Examiner will need to determine the cause of death.
