
Garland Police have identified the man who was found dead in his jail cell over the weekend.
31-year-old William Hunter Kimbrough of Allen was found unresponsive and was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Garland Police say he had complained of being ill and was checked out at a hospital on Saturday but was returned to custody.
He was found dead the next day. He had been arrested Friday on charges of possession of fentanyl and tampering with evidence.
The Dallas County District Attorney's Office and Collin County Medical Examiner are investigating.
