A man is in serious condition after taking a ten-foot fall inside an abandoned grain silo in Fort Worth.
Just before midnight, the man was badly injured about halfway up inside one of the silos that run along South Main Street just two or three blocks south of JPS.
Firefighters immediately rigged up a rope system and lowered the man on a basket out of a fifth-floor window. He was seriously hurt with broken bones and perhaps other injuries. One thing police want to know is what in the world was he doing up inside that abandoned silo at that time of night?
