A man is now locked up in Dallas, charged in a weekend crash that killed two people in east Dallas.

Dallas Police say late Saturday night, a woman was trying to turn left from Centerville Road onto Joaquin Drive when a pick-up truck ran a stop sign and broadsided the woman's car.

Police say the victim, identified as Milena Wilske, died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Her passenger was killed at the scene.

The driver of the truck, now identified as Antonio Ortiz, is behind bars and is expected to be charged with two counts of manslaughter.

A third vehicle was caught up in the chain reaction crash. That driver was taken to the hospital, treated, and sent home.
