DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A man is locked up in Dallas, accused of murdering an elderly South Oak Cliff woman last week.
Last Tuesday, an 87-year-old woman was found dead in her own home near South Oak Cliff High School. On Sunday, friends and family gathered for a prayer time outside Anita Thompson's home, led by Reverend Horace Bradshaw who said that while her death was most tragic, her life was well-lived.
Not long before the gathering came word that a man had turned himself in. Many there recognized the name of Andre Buggs, said to be a friend of the family.

His mother and Mrs. Thompson had been friends for many years.
