A man is locked up in Garland after police say three teenage girls nearly died from Fentanyl overdoses this week.

Police say one of the teen girls ingested the deadly drug at a theater on Coneflower Drive and the other two at a restaurant, also on Coneflower about a block away.

Reports say the girls were clearly overdosing but fortunately paramedics were equipped with doses of Narcan which is used for counteracting the effects of opioids.

The girls are in the hospital but are expected to recover.

Garland police say they have evidence linking the girls and the Fentanyl to a man named Erik Santos who is now jailed on three felony counts of causing serious bodily injury by delivering a drug.
