The accused killer of an elderly man is now behind bars in Dallas.
Sunday morning, an 82-year-old man named Charles Tillery was found bleeding badly in the Dallas Cedars neighborhood in the middle of Gould Street near Al Lipscomb Way.
Paramedics rushed Tillery to the ER but there was nothing they could do. Police believed Tillery was killed in the course of a robbery.
A day of investigation led Dallas detectives to a man by the name Darren Hanson who was tracked down Sunday night and booked into the Dallas County jail on a capital murder charge.
