FARMERS BRANCH (1080 KRLD)- Police are now holding the man accused in the murders of two adult sisters in Farmers Branch last week.

The day after Thanksgiving, Catalina Andrade Valdez and Merced Andrade Bailon were found dead in Valdez's home. Police are not saying why they believe Jose Chairez did it but he's been jailed on charges of Capital Murder of Multiple Persons and on Aggravated Assault.

A bond of more than $2 million was set but even if Chairez could make a bond, he would remain jailed because the federal government has placed a hold on him over his immigration status.
