A man is dead in Lewisville, shot at the city's Central Park over the weekend.
Saturday evening, an officer on patrol heard gunfire and found a man dead from a gunshot in the head.
Saturday night, police detained a man for questioning but he was released. So the search for the killer continues.
Detectives believe the gunman and victim knew one another but they're not saying what the killing was all about.
Because many people will be in the park today observing the holiday, there will be an increased police presence.
