A man is now locked up in Dallas where police accuse him in a rash of aggravated robberies over the past couple of weeks.

Police say Raymond Guerra is up on charges in more than a half-dozen armed robberies from July 28th through August 3rd - all in an eight block area in West Oak Cliff.

Dallas detectives say in that final robbery on August 3rd, Guerra meant to shoot an armed security guard but his pistol malfunctioned.

The combined bonds on all his charges total one million dollars.

Property recovered from the various search warrants included items stolen during the offenses along with a pistol and a lot of cash.
