
A Grand Prairie man will be behind bars for up to 25 years for his part in the 2020 murder.
Court records show the victim, Derrick Johnson, was fatally shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Within days of the murder Grand Prairie police arrested five men including Deandre Holmes who has been convicted of a charge of engaging in organizing crime to commit murder.
The Tarrant County District Attorney's office says Holmes pleaded guilty.
