PLANO (1080 KRLD)- A Plano resident got into the water at a spillway on Caravan Drive near Prairie Meadow Park on Tuesday to help save some baby ducklings that had been separated from their mother.
A woman captured the act of kindness on video using her cell phone.
The baby ducklings had gotten trapped in the water on both sides of the spillway. A man got a pool net and walked into the waist-deep water to pluck them out and put them in a safer area.

He was also able to guide the ducklings' mother back out into the main body of water to meet them for a happy reunion.
