PARADISE, TX (1080 KRLD)- The man shot by police in Wise County this week has now been identified as a Paradise man named Edward Lander.
During a domestic disturbance Monday night, the Wise County Sheriff's Office says Lander opened fire on officers at his home about a mile outside of Paradise.
He was badly wounded by return fire and was rushed to Harris Methodist in Fort Worth where he was pronounced dead.
