A man is in a Fort Worth hospital with a bullet wound suffered this morning.
Just before 4 a.m. a man called 911 to say he'd just been shot in the stomach. Police found him at a boarding house on Winn Street in the Wedgwood neighborhood.
The man said he had a woman in his room when a man came in, leading to a quarrel that led to physical violence. That's when the shooter pulled a pistol and shot the victim.
The shooter and the woman then ran for it before police got there. The victim is reported to be in stable condition. No arrests, so far.
