One man has died after being struck by traffic on I-35E in Dallas overnight.
Police say just before 2:00 a.m. the unidentified victim was run over on the south-bound side of I-35E near the Loop 12 split.
Reports say the impact was so bad, the victim was knocked out of his boots. He was killed on scene.
The vehicle that struck him was heavily damaged.
Police can't say why the victim was walking in the lanes of traffic in the first place.
