The suspect in a string of grocery store robberies across North Texas has been arrested in El Paso.
Fort Worth police say the man began his robbing spree on Aug. 4 at a Brookshire's in Willow Park. Since then, he's suspected of robbing at least 5 other stores in the DFW area.
As for why he was arrested in El Paso, Officer Jimmy Pollozani with the FWPD says the details are still unclear.
"That's exactly what we're trying to find out," Pollozani says. "As far as any extradition coming back to Fort Worth, that's still in the works. We do not know if there's any local charters on this individual there in El Paso."
At this point, police have not released the suspect's name.
