A man is in the hospital because he was shot in southeast Fort Worth this morning.
Just before 2:30 a.m. a 911 caller reported his uncle had just been shot in their car near Highway 287 and East Berry. He also said the shooter's car was chasing them as they tried to get away. But that car abandoned the chase and the nephew managed to get to a filling station where they waited for an ambulance.
The uncle was shot in the chest. He's in critical condition this morning.
