A Fort Worth shooting victim is in the hospital and the carjacker who shot him is still on the run.
A little past 7:30 p.m. Tuesdaypolice reports say the victim called 9-1-1 to say he'd been shot in the leg at the back of an apartment complex near Highway 360 near Trinity Boulevard.
The man tells investigators he had arranged to meet a woman for the sale of an item posted online. Instead, he was met by two men and one of them was armed.
They told him he was being robbed and was shot twice in the leg before the men drove off in his Mercedes four-door.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. The search for carjackers, and the stolen Mercedes, is underway.
