A woman is locked up and a massive manhunt continues in Plano where police are looking for a man involved in an armed robbery late Thursday night.
Police say it began with two people, a man and a woman, meeting someone to buy a gun. But the purchase turned into a rip-off.
After stealing the gun the couple got away. But police found them and tried to pull over their car on Avenue K just north of Plano Parkway. The couple bailed and ran for it.
Police brought in dogs, drones and a police helicopter. They found the woman and recovered at least two firearms.
They continued looking for the man and he was spotted briefly not far away. So, they continued to search until well after midnight. They are now questioning the woman and evaluating clues they found in the car and at the robbery scene.
