A man's body has been recovered from Grapevine Lake where a 30-hour search began Saturday afternoon when the man jumped from a boat.
The Flower Mound Fire Department says the man jumped in to help a swimmer who was in trouble. The swimmer was not wearing a life jacket and neither was the would-be rescuer.
An all-day search Saturday was unsuccessful so the effort was resumed Sunday morning.
After another all-day search, the rescuer's body was recovered late Sunday afternoon. There's been no sign of the original swimmer.
