MANSFIELD (1080 KRLD)- What started off as a call about a shoplifter at a grocery store ended with the arrests of three people linked to organized crime.

Mansfield police got a call Thursday about a woman at the Market Street East Broad Street seen stealing items and hiding them in her skirt. She left the store with two other people and drove off in a black Honda Odyssey.

Police later spotted the car and pulled them over....and noticed several trash bags in the car. They were filled with hundreds of items. The items stolen included makeup, circuit breakers, perfumes and body sprays, as well as wipes, razors, laundry detergent, toothbrushes, soaps, shampoos, dresses and shoes. Police estimate the value at over $10,000.00 and say the items had been taken from locations across Texas.

All three are now being charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and a warrant from other agencies.
