Dozens of employees at Cook Children's are waking up at work this morning after they spent the night at the hospital to make sure they could care for patients.
For the second night in a row, about 70 employees at Cook Children's slept over to ensure that they're ready to serve the children and their families who need them.
JoAnn Williams, the manager of food services at Cook Children's, says employees are going above and beyond.
"They do it so the kids can get their breakfast as usual, that the parents - our breastfeeding moms can get their breakfast, lunch and dinner on time" said Williams.
Members of the facilities crew also spent the night at the medical center, having worked around the clock to keep roads and sidewalks clear and safe for patients, visitors and other staffers.
