Dallas County will launch a "mega clinic" for COVID vaccinations next week.
Dallas County hopes to start vaccinating people without access to a doctor at fair park's tower building starting Monday.
The shots will be available by appointment only and those registering will have to do so online. Up to two thousand people could be vaccinated there each day.
Judge Clay Jenkins says the county chose fair park because its location is more accessible to people in southern Dallas who may not be able to get it someplace else.
The Department of State Health Services says sites across Texas can expect 200,000 doses of the vaccine next week.
Dallas County residents can sign up at www.dallascounty.org/vaccine-registration to be added to the list.
