MAYPEARL (1080 KRLD)- The Maypearl school district is closing its schools tomorrow, Friday. But, it's not because of Covid.
The superintendent says the district is shutting down because they're seeing too many cases of strep and flu.

After school activities will be cancelled Friday as well. School is already out for Labor Day, and the superintendent says he's hoping everyone will have four days to recover before coming back on Tuesday.
He says they have not seen a large number of Covid cases thus far.
