The cause remains unclear after a fast-moving fire heavily damaged a McKinney home Monday.
Fire crews found heavy flames at a home in central McKinney near Lake Forest and Virginia Parkway.
The fire burned on the patio, inside the home and got up into the attic, forcing firefighters to climb up inside to direct streams of water at the flames.
Despite the heavy damage to the home, the family and their pets were able to get out.
