Looking for a meaningful way to spend your Memorial Day weekend? 🕊️

Join us at the National Medal of Honor Museum from Friday, May 22nd to Monday, May 25th as we honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Recently recognized by Prix Versailles as one of the most beautiful museums in the world, the beauty of our museum goes far beyond its stunning architecture—it lives within the incredible stories of humanity and heroism told inside.

Weekend Highlights & Activities:

  • Field of Flags: Walk through our moving tribute on the museum lawn, featuring over 600 flags representing Medal of Honor recipients killed in action.
  • Dedication Flags: Guests are invited to dedicate a flag in honor or remembrance of a loved one to be placed overlooking Mark Holtz Lake, adjacent to a quiet amphitheater seating area for reflection.
  • Fallen Comrades Table: Visit this deeply symbolic inside tribute dedicated to our fallen service members.
  • Immersive Exhibit Galleries: Explore powerful multimedia experiences and never-before-seen artifacts that bring you closer to the ordinary people who did extraordinary things.
  • Special Added Experiences: Enhance your visit with our Architecture Tour to learn the symbolism behind our world-class building, or step into history with the "Dustoff" Virtual Reality Experience, which simulates a medical evacuation helicopter mission from Vietnam.
  • 1861 Café: Enjoy special Memorial Day menu offerings available Friday through Monday (no museum admission required to visit the café!).

Planning Your Visit:

  • Hours: Open 7 days a week, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Admission: We proudly offer free admission for active-duty military and special promotions for veterans.
  • Parking: Free parking is available if you enter through AT&T Way.

Skip the lines and secure your tickets, VIP tours, or interactive add-ons in advance by visiting our website at mohmuseum.org.
