MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD)- Two men in McKinney are cited for breaking the city's anti-electioneering rules at a local polling place Tuesday.
KRLD learned one of the men wore an Ultra MAGA cape and displayed a political sign on his truck, while the other drove around with flags and political signs, drawing attention from voters and poll workers.
Both men argue that their actions are protected as free speech, claiming the city's ordinance is unconstitutional.
Mayor George Fuller, however, called their behavior a stunt designed to create chaos, saying they’ve clashed with the ordinance before and disrupted the polling site intentionally.
