Mesquite's Vanston Middle School will reopen today after being closed Wednesday and Thursday.
The school has been closed because a transformer fire damaged the school's electrical wiring.
On Thursday afternoon, administrators confirmed the problem was fixed and that classes will be held Friday as usual.
