Mesquite wants your gun and will pay you for it through their Gun Buy Back Event this weekend.
On Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. Mesquite Police Department is conducting a Gun Buy Back Event. Participants can anonymously surrender unwanted firearms in exchange for gift cards, with no questions asked.
The event will be held at Mesquite Arena, on Rodeo Drive. Its a drive up event and participants must remain in their vehicles. Firearms have to be unloaded and placed in the trunk. Boxed ammunition will also be accepted, but any explosives will not.
You will get $100 per handgun and $150 per long gun or ghost gun. It will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with limits of five firearms per person.
