KRLD has learned the name of the woman killed Monday when her car was swept off a bridge near 635 in Mesquite.

60-year-old Jolene Jarrell was an Uber driver and had just dropped off her passenger and was on her way home when she got caught in the flood waters.

Jarrell's family says she was on the phone with her husband as her car began to flood. Then, the line went dead.

The family rushed to the scene and her husband spotted the vehicle off the bridge. Jarrell leaves behind three grown children and several grandchildren.
