A man is missing and presumed drowned in Lewisville Lake.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Lake Cities Fire Department was called about a man who was swimming off a pontoon boat out in the middle of the lake off of Shady Shores on the northwest side.
Companions said he went under and never came back up.
Lake Cities called in help from the Lewisville Fire Department Dive Team which had people in the water for the rest of the afternoon and into the evening.
They employed sonar in hopes of locating the man but the search continues. Just Monday, a Dallas man drowned in Lewisville Lake while swimming off Lake Park.
