DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A teenager's body has been pulled from Lake Ray Hubbard, Sunday.

The 15-year-old went missing Friday night and it was reported a little before 11 p.m. Searchers crisscrossed the lake all weekend and around 12:20 p.m. Sunday the teen's body was recovered near the south end of Lake Ray Hubbard.

Investigators have not said why or how the victim went under. This still remains an active investigation.

Lake Ray Hubbard's Captain's Cove Marina closed early Sunday because of the sudden storm

Captain's Cove Marina at Lake Ray Hubbard is expected to be open its normal hours today as the Labor Day visitors hope to enjoy some time on the lake.

The Marina closed early Sunday when a pop-up storm brought heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning. The wind was kicking up white caps on what had been a rather placid lake earlier.

Some boaters even reported what they believed to be hail. Dozens of boats took shelter beneath the I-30 and George Bush Turnpike bridges for a half-hour or more.

Captain's Cove closed at least an hour early. But staffers expect Monday to be a normally busy holiday at the lake.
