A Texas man is missing, having disappeared just hours after he was heard bragging that he'd stolen $50,000 -- from a Mexican drug cartel.

On March 24th, a bloodied Erik Ramirez was last seen with his kidnappers in a truck crossing the international bridge at Laredo.

The FBI says a video captured a man believed to be Ramirez in a pick-up with several other men -- about 1 a.m. -- as he opens the door and tries to jump out. But the other men pull him back inside.

Then the pick-up blasts past the bridge attendant and heads into Mexico -- leaving a blood-stained shirt and pair of pants along the road.

Just two hours earlier, witnesses heard Ramirez at party in Laredo telling a woman he'd stolen the $50,000 from Cartel Del Noreste. But he said he didn't fear reprisals because he was in the United States.

But just before 1 a.m. armed, masked men arrived at the party and dragged Ramirez into their pick-up and drove off.
