The LA Dodgers meet the San Diego Padres in Game 1 of their National League Division Series (NLDS) to be played at the new Globe Life Field in Arlington beginning tonight.
If the best-of-five series goes the maximum, all five games will be played without a day off between tonight and Saturday night.
With the best record in baseball, the Dodgers will be designated as the home team for Games 1, 2 and 5, if necessary.
Globe Life Field is also hosting the National League Championship Series (NLCS) which begins next Monday October 11th, and the World Series which starts on the 20th.
No fans are welcome for the NLDS but tickets go on sale today for the NLCS and the World Series.
The other NLDS, by the way, begins this afternoon in Houston where the Braves and Marlins meet at Minute Maid Park.
