Tarrant County is making an effort to reach neighborhoods frequently thought of as under-served in current vaccination efforts.
Today, the focus is west Fort Worth. Tarrant County Public Health is teaming with Med-Star and a Las Vegas Trail neighborhood group called LVT Rise.
The vaccine is supplied by Tarrant County Public Health, Med-Star paramedics will give the shots and LVT Rise will help people with the sometimes confusing process of registering for future shots.
Recipients must be in either group 1A or 1B. It all runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the LVT Rise office on Calmont between Cherry Lane and Las Vegas Trail
