Hospitals across North Texas will pause briefly Wednesday in memory of the Methodist Dallas hospital employees murdered in a shooting over the weekend.
The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council is asking all of its hospital partners and all of North Texas to stop for a moment of silence at 12:00 p.m. today.
On Saturday, Jacqueline Pokuaa and Katie Flowers were gunned down by a man who came to the hospital for the birth of his child. Nestor Hernandez is now facing Capital Murder charges.
Officials confirm that Flowers was a nurse and Pokuaa was a social worker at Methodist Dallas.
