The rain may be a good thing, but it certainly was not what was needed to kick off the Thanksgiving travel week.
Delays and cancellations again were a problem at both DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field Monday morning. A ground stop was in place for a while adding to the mix.
This week is supposed to be a busier-than-normal Thanksgiving travel season and DFW Airport expects about three million travelers.
The middle of the week should be relatively easy when it comes to weather-related issues because it is expected to be sunny.
More rain is expected in the days after Thanksgiving which could cause problems for travelers returning home.
