Dallas police are adding more charges against Darriynn Brown, the man already locked up on a kidnapping charge connected to a four-year-old boy found dead in southwest Dallas nearly two weeks ago.
In an un-related case, Brown is now charged with kidnapping, causing injury to a child or an elderly person plus two counts of burglary all stemming from an incident in February that included what police say was a near abduction of a two-year-old child.
Brown's name first came to light after four-year-old Cash Gernon was found stabbed to death on May 15th.
Although Brown is not accused of the killing, he is a suspect in the boy's kidnapping.
Brown remains locked up at the Dallas County jail on a bond of more than $1.6 million.
