Wise county jail records show that 31-year-old Tanner Horner, who is already being held on capital murder of a person under 10 and aggravated kidnapping charges, is now facing three counts of sexual assault of a child.
It appears these charges are unrelated to the Strand case.
According to an arrest affidavit, Horner confessed to accidentally hitting Strand with his van after delivering a package at her home. He told investigators he kidnapped and strangled the girl because he was afraid she was going to tell her father.
Horner remains behind bars on bonds now totaling more than a million and a half dollars.
