Wednesday and Thursday will bring a decent warm up compared to the last few days with Thursday entering into the low 50s.
That will be met with another brutal cold snap over North Texas this weekend.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Madi Gordon in the Fort Worth office says there is some good news though.
“Thankfully we don’t have any threat for precipitation through early next week so this is going to be a dry cold front,” Gordon said. “All that precipitation is going to be across the Eastern U.S.”
Dallas Fort Worth could see lows again in the upper teens Friday night.
While this system is not expected to bring any winter precipitation, anything still left on the ground from last weekend’s storm will easily refreeze once again.
