An even larger area of Fort Worth is now under a boil water advisory.
The extended advisory applies to west Fort Worth where a water main break led to a sharp drop in pressure. It also applies to Westover Hills, Aledo and White Settlement - three cities that buy their water from Fort Worth.
And earlier boil water advisory for north Fort Worth and several adjacent communities is still in effect.
The city says nearly 200 water main breaks have been reported since Sunday.
