With the Fourth of July just two weeks away, more than 6 million Texans are expected to hit the road for holiday travel, according to AAA Texas.

Nearly 90% of those people will be driving, which is up at 5% from last year.

"Flying is up as well, all categories and modes of transportation are up year-over-year by about 5-7%," AAA Texas' Daniel Armbruster said. "It doesn't matter if you're flying, driving, taking a cruise, which a lot of people are, it's going to be very busy."

For those people who are flying, Armbruster added that now's the time to reserve a parking spot at the airports because parking will be a real pain on and just before the holiday.
