A drive-by shooting killed a one year old child in Dallas Sunday night. Family members say they had gathered at the house on Hay Street, just north of Fair Park, for a memorial for someone else who had died.
Dallas Police were called about 9:30 pm. They say two people were shot, a mother and her one year old child.
Both were taken to the hospital. The child died; the mother was in critical but stable condition.
Family members say the shooting was random, and police had not made any arrests Monday morning.
