Investigators say it was a young mom and her two kids who were killed in a crash in Parker County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirms 25-year-old Brittany Counts of Springtown was killed in a crash yesterday afternoon on Highway 199 in Parker County.
Her 7 year old son Wyatt Mask and 4 year old Preslee Mask were also killed.
According to investigators, Counts was driving an SUV when she hit the back of a pickup and lost control of her car which ended up on the other side of the highway where it was hit by another pickup.
Counts and her two children died at the scene.
The driver of the truck that hit her was hurt in the crash, he was taken to the hospital to be treated but is expected to recover.
