A motorcyclist has died in an early morning crash in southern Dallas County.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office got word of it just before 3 a.m. and deputies found the rider already dead at the scene on I-20 near Cedar Ridge Road in Dallas.
A number of 9-1-1 callers reported seeing the victim and the motorcycle lying on the freeway.
The westbound lanes were closed for the clean-up and investigation and the delay was more than an hour by 6:20 a.m.
Sheriff's deputies have not said what caused the crash.
