A man has died in a crash on Interstate 35E in Dallas overnight.
Just past 10 p.m., police say a motorcycle rider crashed into a car on southbound I-35E near Empire Central, killing the rider at the scene.
Dallas County Sheriff's deputies closed down the southbound side for the clean-up and investigation.
The freeway was reopened just before 2:30 a.m. Investigators have not said what caused the crash or who was at fault. The name of the deceased has not yet been released pending family notification.
