The motorcyclist killed in Hill County over the weekend has now been identified as police in Covington pursue the investigation.
Saturday, the rider and a car collided, causing grave injuries to the motorcyclist who was flown by Care-Flite about 45 miles to the trauma center at JPS in Fort Worth.
However, the victim -- a Covington man named Chad Brooks -- died about two hours later.
A second person was also taken to a Fort Worth hospital with injuries considered not life-threatening.
Police have not said who was to blame for the collision.
