A stretch of southbound Loop 12 Walton Walker in Irving could be shut down until noon today following a fiery crash this morning involving two 18-wheelers.
Around 2 a.m. two 18-wheelers crashed on a bridge just north of the West Fork of the Trinity River. The cab of one semi-truck crashed over the side of the bridge and the trailer burst into flames.
Two people were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are not known.
Hazmat crews are on site due to a diesel spill.

All of the southbound lanes are closed at Shady Grove as officials investigate the crash. Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes as they make their morning commutes, according to NBC 5.
